  1. For clarification:

*I hate the iLife, “you have to buy all of our things if you want to be cool,” mentality that Apple pushes.

*I hate the down-down-down-go-go-go-mine-mine-mine attitude Apple has regarding their technology. Protecting IP is one thing, but the tech sector would be no where near its current level of development if everything was as closed as Apple is.

    * I hate the Apple vs PC mentality that is nurtured by *both* camps. It has created an atmosphere where you are no longer able to say, “I don’t like the Mac” without having to fend off the attacks of rabid fanboys. Both computers have their own strong points and weaknesses.

I will admit, in the fires of Mac vs PC arguments in the past, I have, in the heat of frenzied competitive argument, flung to the other extreme, refusing to identify Apple products as “real” computers. This is not something I truly believe, however…. though, I will sometimes say things along those lines when I’m trying to get under the skin of an Apple devotee. I know… I’m a horrible person 🙁
